Contemporary Visions: The festival of contemporary art in Florence
Day One is an Italian institution which works to promote and exhibit new art and artists both within and outside of Italy.
Day One’s biggest project is a festival of contemporary art, Contemporary Visions, which includes three group exhibitions between October and December 2015 at Multiverso‘s modern event venue. Their aim is to find new artists from Italy and around the world and provide a space for their work. If you’re wondering, why Florence, why not Milan or a more modern city, Day One has an answer. Florence is a “leading destination for artists around the world” and remains a cultural hotspot. Displaying your work in Florence puts you in the same position as Michelangelo and the Renaissance greats.
Right now, Day One has a open call for visual artists to participate in these three “ArtClouds” for this year’s Contemporary Visions festival.
